I was referred to this business owner following a seminar with Jack Canfield, a great friend who subsequently interviewed me for his private Platinum Mastermind Group about book publishing and marketing. A CEO and visionary of an online community sought me out for a book idea he had that would engage the leaders of his industry as contributors to the content of his book alongside him. In addition, he wanted to include the perspective of the consumers who had benefited from the programs and products offered by the industry and its teachers. He engaged me to guide the project and be the mastermind and brainchild behind the orchestration of this Herculean project.
I designed the pitch to the industry leaders which successfully engaged their participation in the project, advised the CEO on every part of the process from writing interview questions and interviewing techniques to crafting a content approval system to successfully acquiring permissions for perpetual use of the material as well as promotional permissions for their pictures and images, and organizing a time-sensitive system for collecting consumer input to include in the project.
I was also asked to organize, edit and stitch together the content of the manuscript from more than 60 individuals including the CEO’s featured content into a fluid, easy-to-read book that could be enjoyed by those new to the industry as well as appreciated by those who were already familiar with it. The successful execution and coordination of all of the processes mentioned above and more were completed in just 77 days.
The result: the initial manuscript was written and completed in its entirety in just 77 days. The book went on to be endorsed and promoted by the industry leaders and is still appreciated today.”
